|||
A talk on Road Safety and Traffic Rules was held in school on 29th July 2016 for the students of classes IX to XII. Mr. Mohit Aggarwal, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Panipat was the guest speaker on the occasion. He spoke to the students at length about the do's and don'ts while driving two wheelers. He advised them not to drive two wheelers until they reached the age of 18, but if at all they drove they must use helmet for their safety. he urged the students to ask their parents as well to use helmet while driving two wheelers. Further, he informed everyone about the initiatives taken by District Legal Council to spread awareness to minimise road accidents. He also spoke about the legal assistance given to the victims of road accidents by the council. At the end he appealed everyone to help the victim on road without losing any time, because timely action could save somebody's precious life. The talk of Mr. Aggarwal was followed by an interaction of Mr. Satyavan, Sub Inspector, Panipat. He spoke to the students about the various reasons of road accidents. He also made them familiar with various road signs. He asked everyone to follow traffic rules for his/her safety. During both the sessions students were shown very informative banners which were full of messages regarding road safety and traffic rules. |
