Session: 2022-23

 

The school, in association  with Panipat Refinery  & PNC, organised the following competitions for the students  of classes VI to IX on the occasion of Productivity Week celebrated from 12 February to 18 February 2023.
1. Elocution Competition for Class IX.
2. Quiz Competition  for Classes VII to IX.
3. Painting Competition  for Classes VI to VIII.
The top five selected students  of each competition from each class were awarded.

      

The Inter House Interactive Speech Competition (English) was held on 10th  February ’23 for classes VI and VIII.  Aravalli House bagged the 1st position. The second position was jointly bagged by Nigiri House and Vindhyachal House. The themes  for classes VI, VII and VIII were "Kindness", "Gratitude" and "Self Reliance" respectively. Each house was represented by three participants, one from each class of VI,VII and VIII. The participants were allotted partners from a different house but same class. Each pair was given 2.5 minutes to present the views. The students talked about their topics quoting amazing examples.

      

A special assembly was conducted on 8 February 2023 for classes VI to IX. A special guest, Shri Bhausaheb Bhawar, popularly known as Cyclist Bhausaheb, was invited to address the students.  In his inspiring address, he asked the students to fight against social evils like- dowry system, drug abuse, female foeticide etc. when they grow up. He also advised them to lead a disciplined and honest life and refrain from greed and corruption in their personal lives.

  

Class 11 gave a fond farewell to Class 12 of 2023 batch on February 4, 2023 at school. On the occasion the Principal, Sh. Vinod Sarma wished Class 12 students  all the success and bright future for their future life. He advised them to remain a good human being and exude respect for all. The students of Class 11 organised a colourful cultural programme to entertain their seniors. The teachers were also invited to the part of the programme.

               

The students of classes VI to XI participated in Pariksha Pe Charcha - 2023 on 27th January 2023 during which our honourable Prime Minister interacted with students.

           

A seminar was held for class XII on 28/12/2022 by Jamboree Education. The resource person guided the students with regard to the admission process of different colleges in India and foreign countries. He also shared about various entrance tests conducted for admissions in different undergraduate courses.

       

A seminar was conducted for classes X to XII on 29th November 2022. Acharya Pawan, an educational counsellor and a motivational speaker was invited to address the students. He advised the students to improve their listening ability and minimize the use of mobile phones to improve their academic performance.

   

The school celebrated 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas'  on 31st October 2022.Morning assembly included speeches about the role of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel in national integration and various movements that were organized by him in unifying our country. Students took pledge of Rashtriya Ekta. After the assembly students undertook a short Unity Run to celebrate the occasion.

A career counseling session was organized in D.P.S Panipat Refinery Township on 9.11.2022 for classes 11th and 12th. The speaker explained students about liberal education and courses related to it. She also gave a brief knowledge to students about admission process, assessment, interview, personal essays and S.O.P. She explained students about Universities that they were looking for and how they should prepare for the same. The session was then followed by a question and answer session in which students participated actively followed by a feedback. The session was very fruitful and informative for students.

CBSE-CVC Essay Writing Competition was held for classes X-XII on 10th October 2022.  Students were asked to write an essay on the given topic.  One best entry (Prishaa Dhawan of class XI) was selected and uploaded at CBSE Portal.  Three best entries were awarded certificates of merit by the school.
